Our Mission
Founded in 1991, KiDS of NYU Langone Foundation is an organization of parents, physicians and friends who support children’s services at NYU Langone Medical Center through philanthropy, community service and advocacy. KiDS works in partnership with NYU Langone Medical Center to enhance clinical and supportive care for children and families, fund research into childhood illnesses, and to promote a nurturing environment that enables children to be children.
How KiDS of NYU Langone Helps
KiDS made a gift to NYULMC to renovate the NICU at Tisch Hospital, helping Jadelynn, and thousands of other infants, receive state-of-the-art care.
KiDS fulfills important needs by lending support that may not be available from the hospital budget or other sources. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, KiDS is able to make multi-year gifts and award annual grants to fulfill specific requests by the physicians, nurses and support staff who are the heart of the excellent pediatric care for which NYU Langone is recognized.
Community Service
KiDS helps to extend the knowledge and resources of NYU Langone Medical Center physicians into the community. The organization periodically sponsors free educational events that feature NYU pediatric physicians and other experts. KiDS partners with other organizations concerned with promoting the health and well-being of youth. KiDSBeat, the award-winning newsletter of KiDS, provides timely news and health information.

KiDS has been recognized for its philanthropic contributions by New York University, which has inducted the organization into its Sir Harold Acton Society, NYU’s most prestigious donor circle.
