Impact

KiDS' support of the Horticulural Therapy Program makes the hospital a friendlier place for patients like Michael and ensure that he, and his carrot, thrive.

Founded in 1991 by parents, pediatricians, and pediatric specialists, KiDS of NYU Langone has raised more than $20 million, enabling NYU Langone Medical Center to lead the way in compassionate care tailored to the needs of children and families.

For 21 years KiDS has remained true to its mission of supporting children’s services at NYU Langone Medical Center through philanthropy, community service and advocacy. KiDS works in partnership with NYU Langone Medical Center to enhance clinical and supportive care for children and families, fund research into childhood illnesses, and to promote a nurturing environment that enables children to be children.

KiDS is unique among pediatric philanthropic efforts at NYU Langone in that it provides funds to inpatient and outpatient programs that serve children throughout the Medical Center.
